PULL CHOCKS: To leave. T
his phrase comes from pulling the
wheel chocks away from the tires so
you can taxi the airplane. The
crew chief signals this by motioning
outstretched thumbs back and forth
outside the shoulders. This
motion can be used to signal at any
time that it is time to leave.
Especially useful in a crowded,
noisy bar.
