Warbird Beer. Above and Beyond.

This is a photo of Matt getting a keg of Warbird beer ready to serve on tap.  We use only top quality stainless steel kegs with American Sankey style fittings.  These are the standard for the restaurant and bar industry in America.  The kegs make Warbird draft beer an easy fit into any retail location.

With our automated keg washing machine shown here, empty kegs are drained, rinsed, washed, sanitized, and filled with carbon dioxide gas.  At that point, they are ready to fill with beer.  Using the "counter-pressure" filling method, the carbon dioxide gas in the keg is allowed to escape as the beer flows into the keg.  In that way, room air never touches the finished beer.  That is key to fresh tasting beer on draft.

Each keg holds 15.5 US gallons of beer and are known as "half barrel" kegs because they hold one half of a US barrel (31 US Gallons).  We also have 5 gallon "skinny" kegs for start-up accounts and for locations where under counter shelf space is limited.

"Is that a barrel of
beer?"

No, this is a "half barrel" of beer.  A barrel is defined as 31 US Gallons of beer.  Each keg contains 15.5 US Gallons.
