Thunderbolt Wheat is a traditional unfiltered German-style "hefeweizen."  We brew Thunderbolt in the same way they do in Germany, using only pure water, German Wheat malt, German hops, and German Wheat yeast.  Unlike many other wheat beers, we don't add any additives or spices to add flavor.  The Wheat yeast is responsible for the beautiful aroma of citrus and cloves.  You might notice yeast that has settle to the bottom of the bottle.  Gently swirl the bottle to release it.  This is an absolutely beautiful beer.  As the Germans say, "Prost!"
